This is a quick easy meal you can cook all fresh or use ya leftovers and make a new dish!

Ingredients :

2 cups shredded beef ( you can make nonas Sunday roast leftovers for this dish!!
Just take the left over beef and simmer in some beef gravy to soften and shred )

1 Tbs olive oil
1 Tbs butter
1 onion diced
2 pablanos diced
5 garlic cloves minced
2 cups diced or stewed from the garden tomatoes.
1 cup sliced okra ( I used leftover stewed tomatoes and okra I had )
1 cup beef broth
1 Tbs Tony’s Creole
2 tsp filé
1 bay leaf
1 tbs Nonas surly sauce citrus and pain
1/2 Worcestershire
1 Tbs kitchen bouquet
Salt and pepper
2 large handfuls of fresh baby spinach
2 cups cooked fluffy rice ( recipe in Nonas red beans and rice recipe)

Heat a med to large sauté pan on med high heat.
Add oil and then butter until melted.
Add onions.
Sauté until translucent.
Add peppers and garlic.
Sauté until soft.
Lightly Salt and pepper veggies.
Add bay leaf
Add broth.
Add beef.
Stir and cook down by a quarter.
Add tomatoes and okra.
Add Tony’s, Worcestershire, kitchen bouquet, Nonas hot sauce.
Turn heat down to med low and cook down for 20-30 min or until thickened.
Remove from heat.
Remove the bay leaf.
Add filé and then fold in spinach.


Plate rice and spoon over with beefy stew
Add a little more of Nona’s citrus and pain
And enjoy !!
